  1. I understand about being lonely. I am a senior who had lots of friends while I was working but now that I’m retired, I don’t seem to. I do turn to the Lord when I get lonely I also went and got me a puppy, and he keeps me pretty busy, I need to find a home church and have a church family

Hello, I love listening to your podcasts. And this one hit home for me. I would like to hear your alls thoughts on being single in the church. Been married once, and it’s hard to get connected in churches. There are a lot of activities for families and couple but nothing for singles. A lot of people that I know who are single have given up on going to church because they fill left out. And to some point I believe this too. I have been told that having a single group is just for hooking up. Maybe so, however, I want a godly man someone who goes to church. Just wanted thought on this because I struggle with fining a connection and being included in.
