Encouraging others in faith, with man’s best friend! Sheepdogs for Shepherds, Inc. provides professionally trained service dogs to disabled veterans and first responders at no cost to the recipient. These dogs are trained to assist our heroes in multiple ways but, most commonly, through providing PTSD support/interruption and mobility assistance. Each dog is trained individually for the specific needs of the recipient. Shepherds for Sheepdogs is built on Psalm 23, “The Lord is my Shepherd..." The Lord being our ultimate Shepherd, Refuge, and Strength and the source of true healing.
Shepherds for Sheepdogs' desire is for all, recipients or supporter alike, to be able break free from the mental prison caused by PTSD, mental health, or trauma and live their lives with a sense of freedom found only in Christ.
