The Light FM is shining a light on what God is doing in Eastern Burke County. We will be sharing stories of hope and how faith can move mountains in Western North Carolina, even through the hard times.  Not unlike other mill towns in our area, the people of Longview, Hildebran & surrounding areas have been faced with high rates of unemployment, housing issues and poverty for quite some time.

But there is hope. Local churches and government are locking arms to help families get the assistance they need for food, clothing and school supplies.
