How to Get Rid of Burnout

If you’re in need of a little sanity, you might need to check your mind’s check engine light! On this episode of Girl Talk Podcast, we’re talking about burnout – and how to guard against it.

A key factor in avoiding burnout is knowing your triggers and knowing what energizes you when you’re feeling drained. Here are a couple of pointers from Carol, Tricia and Kelly:

-Protect your capacity

You don’t have an unlimited supply of energy, so don’t act like it! Learn when to say know and do a little self-reflection to find out what activities and people drain your mental, emotional, physical and spiritual batteries.

-Know when your energy zones are

What time of day do you feel the most energized? Get your big jobs done then and save mindless tasks for when you’re already slowing down mentally or physically.
