How to Forgive Broken Promises

“You have a God who loves you so much you don’t have to beg for scraps of love from other people.” Tricia

How do you forgive someone when they’ve broken a promise? We’re learning how to forgive those who hurt us, even when they’re not sorry. Carol, Tricia and Kelly will talk about boundaries and how putting your confidence in God can heal your heart.

“Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor and slander be put away from you, along with all malice.” Ephesians 4:31

Where to start:

Pray for them. Pray for their heart and pray for their good.

Talk to them – be honest. If you don’t trust them, tell them.

Ask for help (get a Christian counselor).

Dig into God’s Word.

Set boundaries for behavior and for your heart.
