Local churches in the Claremont community are coming together to show a united front in Christ. The churches will have information about their individual church. So that people with in the community will see what each church offers. That way if they don’t have a church home hopefully they can find one. We have several blue grass gospel groups lined up. An have also invited the local churches that have choirs or praise bands to perform. We will have a donation based food truck set up.

Poovey’s Chapel Light the Way 5K will host it’s annual 5k run on May 10th, 2024.
Funds from the run will help sponsor our youth’s activities for the year.

Free and open to the public it's not just a Fair for Christians, but a Fair put on by Christians for our community. The Triumphant Quartet will lead in a worship concert at Highland Baptist Church of Hickory on Friday evening, May 24 at 7pm. The event is free and open to the public. A love offering will be taken for Triumphant's ministry. Doors will open at 6pm with the concert beginning at 7pm.
