Newsboys: Let The Music Speak Tour – Knoxville, TN

One of Christian rock’s most enduring bands, Australia’s Newsboys first rose to popularity in the 1990s, becoming perennial chart-toppers with a global audience who followed them through three distinctive eras. Along the way, they experimented with various facets of rock, pop, and more straightforward worship music. Currently based in Nashville, Tennessee, the band has released 17 studio albums, 6 of which have been certified gold as well as notching various Grammy nominations and over 30 number one singles. In addition to performing music, the band has appeared in the films God’s Not Dead, God’s Not Dead 2, and God’s Not Dead: A Light In Darkness.

 

Overcoming Addiction: Suffering Well – Knoxville, TN

Join Renew Clinic Knoxville for a powerful evening of overcoming addiction and learning to “suffer well”. Hear from Brian “Head” Welch, lead guitarist of the American Rock Band “KoRn”, about how he came into to a relationship with Jesus and overcame a life of drug use. Brian will share what it means to “suffer well” through the process of breaking addiction, and how God showed up for him in those hard moments. The event will also feature Author, Pastor, and Psychologist, Dr. Jim Coffield. Tickets are available. Free tickets are offered to those who are currently enrolled in addiction/treatment programs.

 

Bold & Courageous Tour – Gastonia, NC

The NC Faith & Freedom BOLD & COURAGEOUS TOUR will visit Gaston County for a special Sunday evening family-friendly program on August 20th at 7pm the beautiful new City Church outdoor Amphitheater in Gastonia.  Dove Award Winning and Grammy nominated Sanctus Real will be in Concert with former NFL tight end and SEC College Football Analyst Benjamin Watson as a guest speaker.  The evening will be topped off by a fireworks show.  Event will proceed rain or shine.

Labor Day Singles and Leaders Retreat – Flat Rock, NC

Annual singles & leadership retreat at Bonclarken Conference Center in Flat Rock, NC. This retreat is in its 44th year. Last year we had over 300 register from around the country of all ages. The retreat includes teaching by Kris Swiatocho and Pastor Freddy Johnson, worship with RK Praise, excursions, dance, concert, bonfire, testimonies, prayer experience, breakfast/lunch and learns, devotions and more. Our charity for 2023 is Crossfire Ministries. Our Theme is: Super Heroes of the Bible.

Knox for Liberty Freedom Fest – Knoxville, TN

Join us August 19th from 5pm-10pm at Creekside – Good Food – Good Vibes for a fun-filled evening with fellow patriots at Knox for Liberty’s first annual Freedom Fest. There will an incredible line-up of inspiring speakers, conservative sponsor vendor booths, entertaining music, and great food.

24th Holy Convocation – Charlotte, NC

Bishop Nathan J. Anderson and WAR Fellowship Ministries International will host its 24th Annual Holy Convocation in Charlotte, NC. Our theme for this year is “Stir Up the Gift.” Official day will be August 20, 2023 at 4:00pm. Evening services will convene August 23-25, 2023 starting at 7:00pm. Our evening services are free and open to the public.

Mac Powell – Asheville, NC

Mac Powell co-founded the Grammy- and Dove Award-winning Christian rock band Third Day. Free Concert,” Gospel Rhythmic Nites” open to the public. Including a Special Prayer by Pastor Mike Henson asking for the LORD’S Blessing of protection and safety to cover all the children during this school year! Hosted by Jim from Ted’s Boys, they’ve played the Grand Ole Opry, Country USA and The Earnest Tubb Midnight Jamboree. Also Pianist Extraordinaire Joseph Stewart and others.
