This is a free event sponsored by several churches in Yancey County. We will march through the streets of Burnsville to the Town Square. This event is a time to show our faith and lift up Jesus in our community. There will be prayers and live worship music on the Square. A FREE picnic lunch is provided. The event starts at the Yancey Rescue Squad on the corner of Love Fox Road and West Main Street and continues on the Town Square. This is not a Yancey County exclusive event; all are welcome.

Rock the Block – Old Fort, NC

This is a local outdoor vendor event with a center function of earning funds & collecting toys for New Testament Outreach. The Outreach is a local Christian-based organization that helps feed & clothe the community all year long. The toy drive helps supply gifts for the annual Christmas Help program. They will have many craft & product vendors, as well as food & a DJ to literally “Rock the Block”. The Outreach will have a booth to accept toy donations for their Christmas Help program.

Freedom Fest on the 5th – Candler, NC
