Holy Ground Next Door

“But a Samaritan, as he journeyed, came to where he was, and when he saw him, he had compassion. He went to him and bound up his wounds…” Luke 10:33-34

Jesus didn’t just tell us to love our neighbors — He showed us what it looks like to notice people. The ones others passed by. The ones who felt invisible. The ones right in front of Him.

It’s easy to think ministry happens “out there,” somewhere else, someday when we have more energy. But Scripture reminds us that obedience often looks ordinary. A name remembered. A prayer whispered while walking the dog. A knock on a door. A moment of presence instead of retreating inside.

Your neighborhood isn’t random. God placed you there on purpose. And He’s already working — He’s just inviting you to join Him.
