Play & Pray – Hickory, NC

Play & Pray is back! Join The Light FM for a special afternoon Play & Pray with Tom at 3 Little Chick’s Bakery in Hickory, NC! Join your afternoon friend from 3pm – 7pm on Friday, February 14th to hang out, pray and worship!

Safe Harbor of NC will be highlighted at 3 Little Chick’s for Play & Pray and you can join in on their ministry efforts by bringing the following items:

• Dish Soap
• Plastic Utensils
• 8oz Coffee Cups

Safe Harbor of NC is a Christ-centered community for women to rebuild, renew and recover. Offering services including:

• Whole Woman Residential Program
  • A unique one-year program takes women deeper than sobriety by focusing on holistic healing in an intentional Christ-centered community aimed at long-term recovery
• Greenleaf Transitional Housing Program
  • Provides low-cost, furnished, clean and safe apartments in a community for women and children looking for structure and support while preparing for successful independent living as they are offered services and taught life skills
• CHLOE WALDROP TAYLOR RENEWAL CENTER: 
  • Community Center 
    The Community Center is located in the lower level and offers a safe place for women and children who are experiencing homelessness, or at risk for experiencing homelessness, to access an array of services through a trained Services Navigator as well as providing meals, showers, laundry facilities, internet access, and transportation.
  • Renewal CenterThe Renewal Center offers On Purpose Classes, which are designed to help women in our programs and our community discover their purpose in life, their identity in Christ and experience freedom.  It is a venue for co-ed support groups, Grace for Days Workshops, exercise groups, and other groups.
  • Safe Harbor’s ReSource WarehouseReSource Warehouse is a social enterprise operated under the umbrella of Safe Harbor. We provide job training and experience to Safe Harbor program participants. All revenue goes back to Safe Harbor.
