“If you’re not willing to take people in…you’re just a clique.” -Carol
Get inspired to cultivate meaningful connections that will help you grow closer to Jesus and others! Let’s walk this journey together – everything is better when we’re together!
I live in a very rural west Carolina community. I retired from teaching in FL and my husband was called to be a pastor of a small country church. We were called by the Lord and we never looked back. A coworker retired and decided to move here. She is single and has no family. She is an unbeliever and she has no one. She was expecting me to hang out with her but I can’t think like her. I have a ladies Bible study that meets on Tuesdays, but she feels funny attending. I don’t want to leave her alone, so any suggestions are welcomed 🙏🏻
Thank you!
Gerry
Hey Gerry! We love that you’re up here and learning to follow after Jesus with your community! We’d suggest that you continue inviting her, but also spend some time catching up over lunch or coffee and sharing your heart and how much Jesus has changed your life. You don’t have to agree with her choices to be the friend she needs!
