Wheels For The World Donation Drive

The Light FM team is so full from what God has done during our Wheels For The World donation drive. Because of your efforts, the hearts of our listeners, and the goodness of our God, we ended the donation drive with a 100% FULL TRAILER!

These items will be transported to a prison in Clifton, TN (2 hours south west of Nashville) to be repaired, refurbished, and made like-new and distributed to a third-world country. Then, they will be paired with the Gospel and shared with hundreds of people in need of mobility and hope. Not only does this leave an impact on the recipient, it also touches those involved in the collection, the transportation, and those involved in the restoration of the items.

There are many stories of the impact these items have on the prisoners who refurbish these items and God works through this process to change their lives!

Thank you for coming along side of us and donating your items. We heard moving stories of what these wheelchairs meant to your loved ones, and are humbled by your donation.

• Charlotte Christian Ministry takes electric wheelchairs in the Charlotte area (Assist Me 704-659-1123).
• Easter Seals will also take electric wheelchairs. Contact your local Easter Seal office to donate a chair, Charlotte Easter Seals UCP office at 704-566-6040 or National Easter Seals 800-221-6827.

Wheels For The World has a group of volunteers across the country that collect manual wheel chairs called the Wheelchair Corps.  To find a local Wheelchair Corps member near you, go to the website and click on the map or enter a zip code and find the telephone number of a volunteer that will pick up a wheelchair.
