Howdy! I'm Lara - the Digital and Social Media Content Supervisor. That means I am on social media way too much but it also means I can totally get away with scrolling through funny memes and call it 'work.' If you're around me for more than 30-60 seconds, you'll notice that I can't sit still or keep a straight face. If there's an awkward situation, I'll probably dig my heels in to make it a little more so. Blame it on my momma, because I was homeschooled.
I am married to the same man I've had a crush on since I was 13 and Jesus gave us the coolest kid ever. They're my two favorite people in the world to be around, and we're obsessed with hiking through national parks and seeing every square inch of God's creation that we can.
My perfect day would consist of a good, long run, followed by an oat milk latte in Downtown Asheville, heading into the Smokies for a good hike and ending it with tacos and a classic country concert. If you’re awake, turn to The Light FM and hang out with me from midnight until 3am, and 9pm-12am on Saturdays for encouraging music and whatever is going through my head at the moment - it's usually a mix of telling stories about my daughter and leaning into how incredible and kind God is. I really believe it, and I hope I can help you believe Him, too.
