What a joy is it to be sharing what God has been doing in our family!

In  2010, God opened the door to travel to Barcelona, Spain for a week to share with a Christian radio station, Onda Paz 93.2 fm, the steps necessary to grow a focused, listener-supported radio ministry. The need for a ministry that broadcasts the truth of God’s Word and the hope of Christ to this part of the world is huge. Barcelona prides itself on its amazing architecture, including some breathtaking churches and religious monuments, and yet less than 1% of the population are consider themselves Christian. Onda Paz has the potential to reach the entire city of Barcelona, a population of nearly 3 million people and some of the Onda Paz programming is carried by 4 other stations in the area, reaching a total of 10 million potential listeners across Northeastern Spain.

During the visits in 2010, it became evident to Pastor Julio Perez (who oversees the day-to-day operations of the station), as well as his support partners that there is an urgent and immediate need for someone with experience and knowledge of Christian radio to come along side the Onda Paz team as a full-time mission partner in order to assist with restructuring and refining the station’s programming and development efforts, and to mentor the team in growing a self-sustaining, effective, listener-focused broadcast ministry that can share the gospel of Jesus Christ with impact.
