“Honey in the Rock” is all about God’s provision in our lives.

This new anthem of God’s goodness to us comes from Psalm 81. In a commentary of the chapter from Robert Godfrey, he says, “The Lord reminds His people that in history He has been the Deliverer and now promises that when we open our mouths in prayer, He will hear us and meet our needs (v. 10). He is the God who preserves and provides for the needs of His own”

God’s Word says it best:

“I am the Lord your God,
who brought you up out of the land of Egypt.
Open your mouth wide, and I will fill it…

But He would feed you with the finest of the wheat,
and with honey from the rock I would satisfy you.” Psalm 81: 10,14

God cares about your life and He wants to take care of you.

It’s easy to take that statement for granted, or to brush it off as something Christians just say. But, is it true? In a world with a lot of heartache, you may not always believe that God is good. In a world full of changing ‘truths’ and unmet expectations, you may not believe that God is faithful.

God is good. God is faithful.

When you look at the storm, instead of gazing into Jesus’ face on the boat (Matthew 14) you will question a lot and you might even start sinking. But if you will look at the Creator, you will find that He is taking care of everything you truly need (Matthew 6).

“There’s honey in the rock, purpose in Your plan, power in the blood. Healing in Your hands started flowing when You said it is done. Everything You did is enough.”
