Relief efforts in area

Samaritan’s Purse – Removal of personal property & furniture, flood cleanup, sanitizing with shockwave treatments, chainsaw work, temporary roof tarping. Free for those with little or no insurance. Visit Samaritanspurse.org or call 833-747-1234
Lenoir, NC – Plain Jane’s Boutique is collecting relief supplies this week daily from noon to 6pm, filling their trailer to be delivered this Saturday to Western North Carolina.
Lebanon UMC in Church Hill, Tennessee is working on assembling flood kits. These kits are distributed to those in Erwin and surrounding areas.
Everett Chevrolet in Hickory NC is loading trucks to send to help the relief efforts in Western North Carolina. They need baby formula, water and nonperishable foods that can easily be opened.
Evergreen Freewill Baptist Church (TN) at 910 Hoback Street in Erwin is collecting donations for those impacted in Unicoi County (TN). Every day from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. (trash bags, batteries, medical supplies, etc.)
Bristol Motor Speedway (TN) has opened its campgrounds to provide immediate shelter to evacuees. RV parking, tent sites, and accommodation for those who have nowhere else to go.

A blood drive will be held on Tuesday, October 1 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. in the Culp Student Center Ballroom on the third floor.
Biltmore Church in Arden, NC has food and water fro 11AM-5PM on October 2
Brookstone Church is a distribution Center from 2-7pm October 2-4 in Weaverville, NC and is putting together SERVE teams when you text ‘RESPONSE’ to 828-518-2208

Lenoir, NC – Plain Jane’s Boutique is collecting relief supplies to go to Western North Carolina this week (September 3-October 4) from 12n to 6pm, filling their trailer to be delivered to the area this Saturday. They are collecting water, non-perishable food & snacks, hygiene items, baby formula, diapers, wipes, etc. Plain Jane’s Boutique is located at 506 Wilkesboro Blvd, Suite 100, Lenoir, NC.
