AI can be a powerful tool—but it was never meant to be a source of truth, comfort, or guidance for our souls. Scripture reminds us that wisdom doesn’t come from something that learns us… it comes from knowing God. “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding” (Proverbs 3:5, ESV). That verse feels especially relevant in a world where information is instant and affirmation is automatic.
God created us for relationship—with Him and with each other. Tools can assist us, but they should never replace prayer, Scripture, community, or the voice of the Holy Spirit. When we keep Jesus at the center and filter everything else through Him, even modern tools can be used wisely—without becoming idols.
This week, notice where you’re turning first for answers, comfort, or reassurance. Before you Google it—or ask AI—pause and pray. Open Scripture. Reach out to a trusted friend. Let God be your first source, not your last resort.
